Sheila Embree

Lead Data Governance Analyst, Amica Mutual Insurance

Sheila first became interested in data and analytics at Wellesley College, where she graduated with a degree in Economics in 1990. She has significant insurance industry experience, having worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of RI (BCBSRI) for 20 years. She had various data and analytics roles at BCBSRI but her favorite role was in Data Governance. Her first Data Governance engagement was there and she brought those talents with her to Amica in 2015. Sheila and her team members continue to evolve the maturity of Amica's Data Governance program.

Don Lemay

Data Governance Analyst, Amica Mutual Insurance

Don has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has worked in sales as a trainer and supervisor, and then with vendors working on various projects and systems. During this time, he also acted as a data steward before transitioning to a full-time position as an analyst on the Data Governance team. Don brings his varied background to Amica’s Data Governance team and feels fortunate to be a part of something from the start, and to be part of its success as it continues to grow.
