About the Speaker

Amber Johnson, CPA
Director of Enterprise Data Governance, Sutter Health

Amber Johnson, CPA, is the Director of Enterprise Data Governance at Sutter Health, one of the nation’s top ten largest health systems. Amber began her career as a financial auditor with Deloitte & Touche prior to transitioning to Sutter Health. She has over 17 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, including audit, finance, and process improvement. In recent years, Amber has successfully designed and implemented both the Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Data Governance functions at Sutter Health. Her data governance team is currently focused on the standardization of reporting and analytics, a framework for external data sharing, and improving data literacy for the organization. Amber received her Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Accounting from California State University, Fresno.
