About the Webinar

As organizations continue to produce and disseminate data through their daily operations, the significance of data trends is increasingly recognized in the business world. However, for many industries, understanding these developments often stops at buzzwords like “Big Data,” “NoSQL,” and “Data Scientist.” Few realize that the solutions to their business challenges, regardless of the platform or technology, heavily depend on the underlying data model. Therefore, data modeling is not just an optional task but a crucial activity that supports the solutions driving your business. Quality engineering and architecture work products do not happen by chance; the more your organization relies on automation, the more critical the data models become in guiding these activities. This webinar highlights data modeling as a key activity upon which significant technology and business investments depend.

Specific learning objectives include:

  • Understanding what types of challenges require data modeling to be part of the solution
  • How automation requires standardization on derivable via data modeling techniques
  • Why only a working partnership between data and the business can produce useful outcomes
