The Freddie Mac Single-Family Data Governance and Management (SF DG&M) department was established in 2014 to define how the business line should govern and manage their data.  We were tasked with developing and implementing data governance standards, creating a communication strategy for our stakeholders and leveraging people, process and technology to operationalize a successful data governance program.

About the Speakers

Jodi D. Morton

VP Data Governance and Management - Single-Family Division, Freddie Mac

Jodi Morton 08-018.jpgJodi is responsible for the development and implementation of the Single-Family data strategy, which includes data governance, policies, standards and practices, data quality transparency and reporting and advancement of data acquisition strategies and analytic capabilities.

She began her Freddie Mac career in 2004. Since then, she has served in a variety of roles within the finance division, most recently as chief financial officer of the Single-Family Business.

Morton earned a Master’s degree in finance from American University, a B.S. in accounting and B.S.in business administration from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C

Jenny Schultz

Director, Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance Function - Single-Family Division, Freddie Mac

Jennifer_Schultz 08-2018.jpgJenny is responsible for defining the Governance framework and standards as well as the related operating model components (roles, processes and tools). Jenny is also responsible for overseeing how the line of business implements strategies for managing and monitoring Information Risk.  Jenny began her Freddie Mac career in 1998.  She held several roles in the IT Division, specifically in the network, information security, change management, and data warehouse operations organizations.

Jenny earned a MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from George Mason University.
