About the Webinar

Data are exerting themselves, more and more, promising great opportunity--fundamental new discovery, better products and service, and more informed, confident decisions.  A data revolution is unfolding!  But few are ready.  They’ve not set their strategies for competing with data.  Worse, most organizations are remarkably “unfit for data.”  In this webinar we’ll summarize the opportunity and the risk, lay out strategic options, and propose steps leaders can take to get in front of the data curve.

About the Speaker

Dr. Thomas C. Redman, “the Data Doc,” is President of Navesink Consulting Group. He has helped hundreds of organizations understand the importance of data and start their data programs, which result in big sustained improvements.  In doing so, they lower costs, increase revenues, build organizational capabilities, improve customer satisfaction, and make more confident decisions. Tom is an internationally known lecturer and the author of dozens of papers, articles and books.  His most recent published article, “Data’s Credibility Problem” appeared in the December 2013 issue of Harvard Business Review. His fourth book, Data Driven:  Profiting from Your Most Important Business Asset, Harvard Business Press was a Library Journal Best Business Book of 2008. He holds two patents. Prior to forming Navesink, in 1996, Tom started and led the Data Quality Lab at Bell Labs. There, he and his team were first to extend quality principles to data and information.
